The dental implant placement process typically includes the following steps:

- Surgical Procedure: If you are a candidate for implants, one of our dentists will arrange an appointment for the surgical procedure. During this time, Drs. - Healing: After the implants are placed, you will need to wait several months for them to heal. During this time, you may need to wear a temporary denture. This is perfectly normal and is the time during which the bone grows around the implant to solidify it into place. This process is known as osseointegration and is necessary to ensure the dental implant is properly in place for many, many years!
- Restoration: Once the implants have healed, our dentist will restore them with a crown, bridge, or denture.
