Implant Dentistry... A Natural Solution

long island, missing teethIf you are missing one or more teeth, you share a problem with over 100 million other Americans.  No matter how you lost them, the embarrassment and frustration of dentures or partials is universally the same. Messy adhesives, clicking noises, and slipping dentures seem a "punishment" for the rest of your life. Now, through modern dentistry, you have an alternative to "false teeth".  Dental Implants can restore the natural look and feel of the teeth you once had.  Dental Implants provide a natural look with many benefits.

  • Enhanced Function - Eat the foods you love again
  • Biologically Safe - Implants are made from a material that bonds with your jaw bone
  • Stability - Enjoy laughter and talking in social and business settings
  • Confidence - Your self-esteem will increase without the fear of embarrassment
  • Convenience - No more unpleasant-tasting adhesives
  • Happiness - Feel younger and more attractive

How do implants work?

long island, implant dentistry

The Implant is an artificial tooth root placed in the jaw bone in a procedure normally performed in Dr. Glasser's office.  You will be sedated so you are comfortable throughout the procedure.  For several months afterward, your bone bonds to the implant, securing it in place.  Once this process is complete, a post is placed in the implant.  This post will be used to support your new teeth.  You can wear your denture or partial comfortably during the bone-bonding process.  Your appointments are scheduled for minimal time away from work or other activities. There are many types of implants designed to fit individual needs. Because Dr. Glasser has extensive training in the diagnosis and placement of dental Implants, he can recommend the type best suited for you.  Dental implants, with proper care, are designed to last a long time. They can give back something you once thought you could never have again... the pleasure of your own teeth!
